Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies (‘cookies’) to enable our services and the website to function, to help analyze their use to improve our service, or for marketing purposes.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit our services. The cookies we use ensure a good technical operation of the website and its user-friendliness. Such cookies ensure that the website works properly and, for example, remembers your preferred settings.
Below is described which cookies are used.
Functional Cookies
Functional cookies are necessary for the website to function. Without these cookies, certain parts cannot be used. These cookies are used anonymously and therefore have little impact on your privacy.
Session Cookies
With the help of a session cookie, we can see which parts of the website you have viewed. We can therefore adapt our services as much as possible to the surfing behavior of our visitors. These cookies are automatically deleted as soon as you close your web browser.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics collects (anonymized) data about the visit behavior on the website. This way we can see how visitors navigate through it. We use this information to optimize (the operation of) our services and website.
Google can provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.
The information collected by Google is anonymized as much as possible. Your IP address is explicitly not given. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce.
If you do not want your visit behavior to be tracked, you can download a Google plugin that prevents this. This plugin is available for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Opera via: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=nl. This setting applies to all websites visited, not just this website.
Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
The advertisement platforms Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads use cookies to display advertisements that may be of interest to you and to collect information about this. This involves the use of ‘ad server cookies’, which help measure the success of the advertisements. When you visit our website through such an advertisement, these platforms store a cookie on your device. These cookies typically expire after 30 days and are not intended to personally identify you. Information about your visit and the displayed advertisements are stored through these cookies. In this process, Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn may recognize your internet browser and any previous cookies. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn, and we cannot identify users based on this information. Therefore, we do not collect any personal data. However, a direct connection between your browser and the servers of these platforms is automatically established. If you are registered with a service from Google, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn, your visit can be linked to your account.
Duration of personal data retention
We store your personal data for a prolonged period but never longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected unless we need to retain the data longer due to a legal requirement.
Children Under 16
We do not intend to collect data about visitors to our website who are under 16 years of age, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is older than 16. We encourage parents and guardians to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data collection from children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us using the address at the bottom of this page, and we will remove this information.
Data security measures
Greener Company takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate security measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. We have agreed with the aforementioned third parties who process your personal data that they will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data.
If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us using our contact details at the bottom of this page.
Access, modify, or delete data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Greener Company. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.
You can address such requests to the address at the bottom of this page. To ensure the request was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request, where the photo, numbers at the bottom of the passport, ID number, and BSN have been made unreadable.
We will respond as soon as possible, but no later than four weeks, to your request.
